National Pole Sports and Para Pole Championships 2024
Pole Sports is based above all on sporting performance and the execution of particularly demanding technical elements. It is judged and governed by a “Points Code” which has been drafted in line with the Olympic standards used for other sports such as gymnastics, diving or figure skating. This emblematic part of the discipline operates in strict compliance with GAISF (Global Association for International Sports Federation) and International Olympic Committee (IOC) standards.
Para Pole, for all athletes with disabilities. Judged and governed by the same “Points Code” as Pole Sports, the discipline is organized according to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) classification system. In para-sport, athletes are grouped according to their degree of limitation and type of disability, to avoid giving an advantage to the athlete least affected by a handicap.
The 2024 Swiss Championships are organized by the Swiss Pole Sports Federation and placed under the aegis of the International Pole Sports Federation (IPSF). All IPSF rules apply, including anti-doping rules.
Competing athletes are therefore required to create a choreography that meets IPSF rules and in particular the Code of Points.

Information Pole Sports for athlete in OPEN (non-Swiss)
Participation in the OPEN competition is only open to foreign athletes in the Elite division who do not have a national championship in their own country.
Categories eligible for the Elite division are identical to those mentioned above EXCEPT for Pre-Novice.
