OFF-Season IPSF 2026
End of September (exact date to be confirmed) 2026 in Lausanne
The IPSF OFF-Season is a new competition organized by the Swiss Pole & Aerial Sports Federation to offer elite and professional athletes an additional opportunity to perform in Switzerland outside of the national championship calendar. It responds to a concrete need: to maintain a dynamic of performance, technical benchmarks, and preparation when competition options are limited.
The competition is based on the same IPSF rules and Codes of Points as the Swiss championships, with the same technical, artistic, and safety requirements. The only difference is that the IPSF OFF-Season does not qualify athletes for the World Championships; only the SPACs fulfill this selection role.
Due to the limited capacity of the 2026 IPSF OFF-Season (maximum 120 athletes), registrations will be managed with the following priorities:
- Registration priority: Elite and Professional divisions (Pole Sport), as well as Professional and Semi-professional divisions (Artistic) have priority over Amateur divisions.
- Recommendation for first-time competitors: if you are competing for the first time, we recommend gaining initial experience at a PACA or PAC’Art event (paca.sport) before registering for SPAC or OFF-Season.
- In case of high demand/lack of places: athletes may be limited to one performance per sport per person.
Deadlines for OFF-Season IPSF 2026
- Monday 31 July 2026, midnight – Registration deadlines via online form
- Sunday, August 9, 2026, midnight – Optional costume, music, or form review. You have two options:

Notification regarding coaches
As part of the structured and sustainable development of our disciplines, the SPSF is implementing a system to recognise coach certifications. The goal is to promote a safe, consistent and high-quality practice, to value athletes’ coaching by trained individuals, and to support healthy long-term athlete development.
The year 2026 is an implementation and transition phase: measures related to certified coaches will be applied as recommendations, giving everyone enough time to get informed, organise themselves and, if needed, begin the recognition process.
From 2027 onwards, it will no longer be possible to register for the SPAC and the IPSF OFF-Season without being supported by an SPSF-certified coach. This step aims to strengthen the quality of the competition experience, prevent risk situations, and continue to grow our sports in a spirit of care, responsibility and gradual professionalisation.
