National Aerial Hoop Sports Championship
Aerial Hoop Sports is a discipline centred on athletic performance, technical mastery and the execution of particularly demanding acrobatic elements.
In competition, performances are assessed according to a structured and detailed Code of Points, allowing athletes’ performances to be evaluated as objectively and consistently as possible. It covers, among other aspects, the difficulty of the elements, quality of execution, technical requirements, composition of the performance, and its artistic and choreographic components.
This rigorous system of rules, comparable in principle to those used in other technical and gymnastic sports, establishes high standards of competition, judging and athletic performance.
